How To Remove Lint From Velour Clothing

Removing Flint From Velour

We all know how good velour feels like, and how well it works. It makes you feel like a king or a queen because it feels expensive but at the same time it is quite inexpensive! Looking like velvet, you can wear it at home when you are doing anything, and you can also wear it when you go outside without feeling embarrassed. The worst thing though is that it can gather up some flint, and that is why I wanted to write this article to help you remove the flint from your sweatsuits.

First of all you need a lint brush to get started. Should it be a sweatsuit or a robe that you are trying to unflint, you ened to open it up completely and go through it with the brush in a firm manner. Show the garnment who is the boss and brush it in an angle that raises the velour - you want it to draw a little bit. Since the fibers are upright the flint will come off a lot easier than it would when it is stuck in between the fibers.

Next thing you need is a lint roller. A tape roll will do the same if you really want to get rid of the lint. Using the lint roller you will be able to remove pet hair as well, but it will also take care of all of the hair and other stuff on the garnment, including the flints.

What I don't suggest you to use is a washcloth to try to wipe away the flint. This can end up leaving flint on the clothes and actually get you further away from the end goal.
