How To Remove Pet Hair From Your Velour Sweatsuit
Although pets our lovely and cuddly their hair can get everywhere. It can be difficult to remove from clothing, especially from velour. It just hangs on to the material like glue and it won't get off even in the washing macine. But don't worry there is still something you can do about the situation. With these easy tips, you should be able to remove pet hair from your clothing. These are just easy and cheap tips that anybody can use. Here are the instructions one by one:
Tape. You can you use almost any type of tape for this. Some tapes like electronic tape does not suit this as it can leave glue on your fabric. But duct tape, masking tape, painter's tape and packaging tape for this. Just wrap it around your hand with the sticky side out. Now press your hand with the tape on the hairs and they should stick to the glue. You can use a rolling motion and roll the tape over the velour.

Microfiber cloth. Microfiber is a magnificent material for cleaning and it suits this application as well. Just wipe the hairs off your clothing and they should stick to the cloth.
Vacuum cleaner. Vacuuming your clothes can help. Try different types of attachment and see which one works best. I think the best is the brush attachment. If you don't have any, attachments can be bought in any store that sells vacuum cleaners.
Washing. Washing you velour sweatsuit in a washing machine does not necessarily remove all the hair. You can leave out side to dry and the try to shake off the hair when the clothes are dry. Just don't do it inside. Still, the stickiest of hairs can still remain. What I usually do is I put the clothes inside the tumble drier, but I don't use high heat. I use low or no heat so the fabric does not get damaged. This should remove even the most resilient pieces of pet hair.
